"No, I'll stay here." said Abby, without making a slightest effort to even shift his attention from the book he was reading.

Marie sighed "Please Abby, all you've done is sit in the house for the past 3 weeks since we got here." she had a look of concern. "Now that I think about...I've never actually seen you go to sleep. Abby, is something bothering you?"

"No." Was all he muttered.

"Abby please! I want to help you, I know there's something wrong with you and I want to help you the best I can...please?" Marie pleaded.

"No!" Abby's temper had cut short. "I said I'm fine, Marie! I don't want to go to any party. Making friends is not a priority and I find social activities quite droll. There is nothing wrong with me, Marie, NOTHING!"

Marie looked as if she was trying not to cry. She sighed and looked down into the floor.

"Okay...I'm sorry. I'll bring you some food since I won't be here to cook for you tonight."

The door creaked shut, and Abby was alone. Alone for the first time in, what he felt, was a very long time. An orange glow cast itself through the kitchen as the sun started to set. Everything in the house was dead. All that remained was Abby, who sat as motionless as a piece of furniture. Seconds turned into minutes, than hours. Before he knew it, two hours had gone by and the night had finally come wielding a blanket of dark shadows. Now, the moon had shown itself. Peeking through the window and into the kitchen.

Abby shivered, he looked at the fireplace. It was as strong as it had been for the past few hours. The young eevee shifted his attention back to reading. Licking his paw before flipping the page. His mouth was very cold, remarkably cold in fact. Abby felt his body, it was perfectly fine. He let out one long breath and watched as the cold air escape from inside him. A chill ran up his spine. He felt something crawling up his leg and instantly removed the book from his view, ready to destroy whatever it was. But it was nothing.

Abby's breathing increased. Another chill shot up his spine like an icy blade. For some unknown reason, he thought of the hallway. He argued with himself over whether he should look down it or not. As if he were going to see something horrifying if he were to turn his head. Slowly, Abby's eye's shifted toward the hallway. It looked vast and dark, behind him, something disturbed the moon's luminance in the kitchen. Abby turned quickly and shivered, his heart beating at least 2 times faster, or it felt that way. His face spelled fear, he got the feeling that he was being watched. Again, he got the same feeling he had about the hallway, but this time it was out the window.

"No...No I don't want to look." He panicked "There's something out there, or something in here."

Abby started to sweat, he was constantly shivering now. He felt very cold. Like he was dead. His ears picked up a sound, the sound of a quick scuttle from a very, unwelcome, Pokémon. Purple, Dark, Bug, Poisonous, Claws. The words flashed in his mind until he finally processed the deathly image of a Drapion. Abby sat paralyzed with fear, frozen. He held onto himself tightly. Every muscle in his body was tense, every strand of fur stood on end. He tried closing his eyes but was only met with the fierce creatures presence again. He left them open. Not trying to move in the slightest, not trying to shift his gaze. He stared into space, Abby was not in control of his thoughts anymore.

A loud knock on the front door sent Abby in the air. He jumped off his chair, and rush for a place to hide. Hyperventilating, sweating, and shivering, he made his way in the closest available spot. Behind his chair. He closed his eyes and made himself small. If he was going to die, he didn't want to watch it happen, he didn't want to see who was going to do it. Each knock brought on more and more fear. Finally the knocking stopped. For a moment, Abby was relieved...until he heard a tapping sound. The creature was at the window now, even worse! He preferred it at the door, where he wouldn't be able to look at it. Abby knew that if he were to turn his head behind him, he'd be met with whatever it was at the window. It's shadow cast on him.

"Abby let me in."

A familiar, high pitched voice came from the window. The voice was so familiar to Abby that he instantly snapped back into his former self. He was serious again, his composure at ease. Almost as if nothing happened. His eyes betrayed him though. Abby turned and opened up the window.

"What are you doing Ciel, I thought you were with Marie." he scolded her, thinking she left Marie on her own. There was a second Pokémon with Ciel, she was round, green, and about the size of Ciel's head.

"Zis is Soy, she's my new best friend! Abby, please come down to the party with us?" Ciel asked. She motioned for Soy to leave the two of them alone.

"Abby...there iz somesing wrong. I know there iz."

"Why did you scare me? You scuttled around making shadows and noises, moving the wind around causing a draft." He raised his voice but tried to keep it hush.

"What? No! I did not! I've only been here for 2 minutes. And I don't scuttle. I have no idea vhere you get zis idea from." the Emolga responded, skeptical about Abby's state of mind.

"...Nevermind...I'll come to the party just...come inside okay? I don't want to meet you at the front door, and I don't want my back to the hallway. Don't ask me why." Abby felt free, though his expression didn't show it, he was happy to finally be in someone elses presence.

Ciel squeezed her way through the window, and walked to the front of the door. Abby by her side. She stared into his face. His behavior, his eyes, and his stride were all very peculiar. But after his response to Marie's offer of help earlier she decided to hold her tongue and quietly left the home. Closing the door behind them. The three made their way to the Spinda Café. Not muttering a word.

So yeah, been meaning to make this for a few days now. This takes place after what will be page two of E4. Abby's losing it, things seem to be coming back to him, namely his fears and phobia. I listened to music from Amnesia while writing this |D so fitting, and the title of the game just so happens to be Abby's plague xP

Super happy with how the artwork came out.
